Located on the Northeast edge of Berne, Indiana, in Adams County, Lehman Feed Mill, Inc., has been serving the agricultural needs of area farmers and residents since 1954. For four generations, the Lehman Family has been striving to meet the needs of their customers by providing high-quality products and services.

Horace Lehman, along with his sons Stanley and Derryl, began grinding feed for their neighbors at their dairy farm Northeast of Berne, Indiana in the mid-1950s. In 1965, after a Palm Sunday tornado struck their farm, they decided to sell their cows and focus on their feed and grain business that had been steadily growing over the years. As Derryl and Stanley brought their sons into the family operation, the business continued to grow. Over time, they have added more products and services that are still offered to their loyal customers.

The Lehman family and their employees remain committed to serving the needs of their customers. Lehman Feed Mill, Inc. is a proud supporter of the local Adams County community, area 4-H Clubs, and local FFA Chapters.

This scholarship will be an annual tribute to the four generations of the Lehman family and will be awarded annually to an Adams Central student planning to work in the agriculture industry.
