What is Adams County Community Foundation's (ACCF) purpose?

 
The ACCF’s purpose is to contribute to improving the quality of life in Adams County for this generation and generations to come. To do this, the ACCF funds projects through grant application cycles to nonprofit organizations that benefit our community. 
 
 

For what types of projects does the Adams County Community Foundation award grants to?

In all cases, grant requests must benefit Adams County, IN residents.

To include but not limited to projects associated with these leadership projects.

Adams County Community Foundation Grant Opportunities 

 
 

TRADITIONAL GRANT REQUEST

Due dates: 2nd Wednesday by 4pm in the ACCF of the appropriate grant month
·         Submitted by one nonprofit organization
·         Amount requested typically ranges from $200 - $5,000
·         Offered in all four grant cycles- January, April, July, and October
 
 
COLLABORATIVE GRANT REQUEST 
Due dates: 2nd Wednesday by 4pm in the ACCF of the appropriate month
· Two or more nonprofit organizations come together for a common event/program
               o One organization takes lead to be responsible for grant paperwork
· Amount requested typically ranges from $400 - $5,000
· Offered in four grant cycles – January, April, July, and October
Grant request must serve all the collaborative organizations’ mission statements 
 
 

IMPACT GRANT REQUEST

Due Date: 2nd Wednesday 4pm in the ACCF of the appropriate month
·         Can be submitted by one or more organization
·         Amount requested typically ranges from $5,000 - $15,000
·         Audience: the successful impact grant will serve a very broad range of Adams County residents.
 
 
In order to be considered for grant cycles, nonprofit organizations must turn 10 copies of their grant application into the ACCF office by 4:00pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the appropriate month- no exceptions. Please note that late submissions and postmarks are not considered.

All grants are reviewed by the ACCF Grants Committee with final distribution approval coming from the ACCF Board of Directors.

Total Amount to Distribute this Cycle:  up to $20,000 for Traditional and Collaborative Grants / up to $15,000 for Impact Grant
 
Cycle:  Spring/April
Due Date:  2nd Wed. in April by 4 pm
Applications Accepted:  Traditional, Collaborative, Impact
Special Requirement:  priority given to Collaborative grant requests
Total Amount to Distribute this Cycle:  up to $30,000 for Traditional and Collaborative Grants / up to $15,000 for Impact Grant
 
Cycle:  Summer/July
Due Date:  2nd Wed. in July by 4 pm
Applications Accepted:  Traditional, Collaborative, Impact
Special Requirement:  none
Total Amount to Distribute this Cycle:  up to $30,000 for Traditional and Collaborative Grants / up to $15,000 for Impact Grant
 
Cycle:  Fall/October
Due Date:  2nd Wed. in October by 4 pm
Applications Accepted:  Traditional, Collaborative, Impact
Special Requirement:  Impact grant requires special application.  Please contact the ACCF to obtain a copy.

Please note: due to the increased workload associated with handling and processing the growing number of submitted grants and scholarships, the ACCF is unable to make copies of your grant request.
