All Grant award recipients are expected to provide proof that grant
funds were used to directly benefit Adams County, IN residents.
In order to be considered in the most
current grant cycle, grant applications must be received in the ACCF by 4pm on
the 2nd Wednesday of the appropriate month-no exceptions. Please
note that late submissions and postmarks are not considered.
How do I submit a Traditional grant? How does the process work?
The ACCF Traditional grant process is designed to be
uncomplicated and user-friendly.
Step 1: Applying for a Grant
2. Complete
the application

Please note the maximum amount for
each grant cycle as outlined on the ‘Grant Info’ page.
3. Submit
10 copies with any additional supplemental materials you wish to include to the
ACCF by 4pm on the due date.
In
order to be considered in the most current grant cycle, grant applications must

appropriate month-no exceptions. Please note that late submissions and
postmarks are not considered.
The
grant committee will review all grant applications and meet to discuss grant
distributions. You may be contacted with questions regarding your organization
or grant request. Typically, notifications of the grant committee’s decision
are mailed out within four weeks of the due date.
Step 2: Grant Acceptance
If
your organization is chosen to receive a grant, you will receive an award
letter by email
Grant
writer must sign, date, and return the following forms to the ACCF:

Grant
Acceptance Agreement (Form 1)
o
Grant
Application Certificate (Form 2)

forms are included with award notification email and may be emailed to
grants@adamscountyfoundation.org
Once
these forms have been returned to the ACCF, a check will be processed and
mailed to the organization.
Step 3: Grant Follow Up (Should be complete within 90 days of Award Letter)
Upon completion of the program/event of the
grant supported, the grant writer must:
o
Complete Follow Up Form (Form 3) - included with the award notification letter
o
Submit receipts for grant expenses (Dated
after the date of Award Letter)
Take Press Release Picture (Directions on Reporting to the Community
Form)
o
If possible, the ACCF prefers the publicity
photo to be taken during the program or event that the grant funds were used
for.
