Phyllis L. (Gerke), October 18, 1931 to November 28,
2005, married Glen R. Zimmerman March 10, 1956 in the Zion Lutheran Church,
Decatur. They were married 49 years and
had continued to attend Zion Lutheran Church all their lives.
Phyllis was an employee at the General Electric
in Decatur Plant for 39 years and Glen R. was owner and operator of their farm
in Root township and also an employee with auto sales. The intention of this fund is to provide an
annual tribute to the hardworking family, to remember their service to our
community, and to provide continued support for many years into the future.
