The Frederick and Harriet Soldner Scholarship Fund was established for various reasons. Harriet taught for 20 years at Adams Central Schools and Bellmont/North Adams Schools. To promote education was a planned choice. Married for 66 years, Fred was a chemist. If possible, Harriet wants someone that would represent the chemistry field.
Both
Fred and Harriet completed their college degrees and all four of their children
completed their college degrees.
The parents of three sons and one daughter, the
Soldner family felt they have been blessed with the ability to provide funding
for a student that may not have had the support they were able to provide for
their four children. That is why this
generous, heartfelt fund was created.
