Todd, 54, was born on May 20, 1961 in Fort
Wayne to Donald W. and Rita M. (Hockemeyer) Gerke.
Todd was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Sons of
the American Legion, was an avid sports fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago
Bears and Notre Dame Football and #1 Bellmont Wrestling Fan. Todd also enjoyed
fast pitch softball and playing golf. Friends and family were happy to share stories of Todd’s pleasing
personality and unwavering support of the teams he followed
His support of the Bellmont wrestling teams
and basketball is the emphases of the eligibility requirements for this
scholarship. The successful candidates will be college bound students that have
shown an interest and/or participation in these sports.
