Fund Est. 2004
October 6, 1940 to March 13, 2003.
Born in Greenville, Kentucky, Carolyn moved to Indiana in 1941 and married Larry in 1960. Carolyn and Larry had three children, Mark, Matthew, and Mary Ann (Zeigler). Carolyn worked at Taylor University as an assistant to the president.
While working at Taylor University, she befriended new employees and students, and, in her volunteer life, she guided, loved, and provided strength to those suffering from physical abuse, drug addiction, and broken hearts and homes. A steadfast and trustworthy volunteer for a program in Ft. Wayne called ‘Transitions’, Carolyn worked tirelessly for those desperate, seemingly hopeless, and in need.
This scholarship was established by Carolyn’s husband, Larry, her family and friends. It is awarded each year to an Adams Central Senior who plans to attend Taylor University in the upcoming fall semester.
