Melanie Bieberich, daughter of Gene and Norma Clark, was raised and attended school in Madison County, Indiana. Melanie and Dennis “Denny” were married in 1973 and have lived in rural Decatur ever since.
Denny is the son of Roy and Phyllis Bieberich and is a life-long resident of Adams County. He and Melanie are the parents of two children: Amber & Todd.
Melanie and Denny are active in St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, serving the church on various committees. Melanie served as a board member of the Adams/Wells Crisis Center and has been active on various boards throughout the years.
A 36 year employee at Decatur Bank & Trust Company / First Merchants Bank (FMB), and having served as president for over 25 years, Denny currently serves as Senior Executive Officer and FMB board member. He has been involved in Youth for Christ, Adams County Economic Development Corporation, Adams County Economic Development Commission, Adams Central Elementary School Building Corporation, and the Adams County Community Foundation Finance Committee, with past board memberships of various community organizations.
The Dennis & Melanie Bieberich Community Enrichment Fund will be used to provide financial support to the organizations they have served in this community.
