The founding contributors, Connie (Constance) Baxter and Terry Marbach, were born and
raised in Decatur and Union Township. The Children's section of the Decatur Public
Library was important to them in their early years. "This fund is established to 'give
back' to current and future generations of children so that they may also benefit from
the Children's section as we did" they note.
