The Adams County Community Foundation's purpose is to contribute to improving the quality of life in Adams County for this generation and generations to come. To that end, grants are awarded to fund projects that benefit our community in one of the following areas of interest: arts and culture, human services, economic development, education, and community improvement.

Nonprofit organizations or those organizations with tax exempt status who provide services to Adams County, Indiana residents are eligible to request funding during any grant cycle. Even nonprofit organizations located outside of Adams County may apply provided they provide programs or services to Adams County residents. Non-Adams County nonprofit organizations must be prepared to submit proof that they assist Adams County residents.

The ACCF offers a variety of granting opportunities including traditional, collaborative, and impact. A ‘Traditional’ grant request is submitted by one nonprofit organization and typically range from $200 - $4,500. A ‘Collaborative’ grant request is when two or more nonprofits come together for a common event/program that meets the mission statement of all collaborating nonprofits. Requests of this nature often range from $400 - $4,000. An ‘Impact’ grant request can be submitted by one or more nonprofit organizations only during the October grant cycle process and typically range from $5,000 - $10,000. For more information regarding these granting opportunities, please select the appropriate tab to the right.

The ACCF offers four grant cycles throughout the year. These due dates are the 2nd Wednesday in each of the following grant months: January, April, July, and October. In order to be considered in the most current grant cycle, grant applications must be received in the ACCF by 4:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the appropriate month – no exceptions. Please note that late submissions and postmarks are not considered.

All grants are reviewed by the ACCF Grants Committee with final distribution approval coming from the ACCF Board of Directors.
