Now disbanded, the Adams County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary established the A.C. Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund in the Adams County Community Foundation in 1998. This fund was established by a group of hospital volunteers who wanted to promote higher learning in the health related field and to insure that a scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity.
Since 2001, the scholarship recipients have been selected by the all-volunteer ACCF Scholarship committee. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduating senior and intend to pursue a degree in a health-relate field. Three scholarships will awarded each year. One to a graduating senior from each of the accredited high schools in Adam County.
